Dr. Catalina Gonzalez grew up in Miami Beach, Florida, and has always been driven by a passion for science and service. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of Miami with a degree in Biomedical Engineering and worked as an engineer at Johnson & Johnson before deciding to follow her true calling in dentistry. Dr. Gonzalez earned her Doctoral Degree in Dental Surgery from the prestigious University of the Pacific in San Francisco, California, where she honed her skills and deepened her passion for the dental profession.

Now calling Goodyear home, Dr. Gonzalez is a strong advocate for serving her community. She believes that continuing education is essential to providing the best care for her patients, which is why she remains dedicated to staying up-to-date on the latest techniques and materials through advanced training. Dr. Gonzalez is actively involved in a local Spears Study Clubs, where she attends various seminars each year to expand her knowledge and expertise. 

In addition to her work in general dentistry, Dr. Gonzalez has a particular passion for Dental Sleep Medicine. She has completed a mini-residency at Tuft’s University in this field, allowing her to offer effective treatments for patients with sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnea. Her dedication to improving her patients’ overall health and quality of life extends beyond dental care, as she works to address the important link between oral health and sleep.

Dr. Gonzalez enjoys working with both adults and children, and she is especially passionate about oral health education. Her leadership and dedication to public health have been recognized by both the California Dental Association and the American Association for Public Health for her outstanding contributions to community service and oral health advocacy.

As a member of the Central Arizona Dental Society, the American Dental Association (ADA), the Arizona Dental Association (AzDA), and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), Dr. Gonzalez is committed to delivering the highest standard of care to her patients.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Gonzalez cherishes time with her two children, husband, and extended family and friends. She enjoys traveling, road cycling, hiking, Pilates, and yoga, maintaining an active and balanced lifestyle.
